Hi friends. As I explained a couple of weeks back, we’re into a new series on the Raised Catholic podcast all about discerning, understanding, and owning our belief system for ourselves as we take our beliefs out for air and line them up with what Jesus actually said and taught along with our own prayer and contemplation. What our Protestant friends often call ‘faith deconstruction’ is not something with which we Catholics are too familiar, but understanding and owning our faith for ourselves is something that every mature Christian should do.
We’ve covered voting/political engagement and leadership from a grown-up Catholic perspective and this week it’s all about communications. As we consider how we discern our listening and speaking, we can look to the example of Jesus and other Christian leaders and the attributes they exemplify and embody.
Listen to Raised Catholic episode 195: Grown-Up Catholicism - Communications on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts (or read the transcript) and then meet me back here in the comments to let me know your experience of speaking and listening as a person of faith these days. I’ll see you there.
