Continuing education
we were born and raised Catholic, but that doesn't mean our journey is done
Hi friends. This week, we’re wrapping up a series on the Raised Catholic podcast all about discerning, understanding, and owning our belief system for ourselves as we take our beliefs out for air and line them up with what Jesus actually said and taught along with our own prayer and contemplation. What our Protestant friends often call ‘faith deconstruction’ is not something with which we Catholics are too familiar, but understanding and owning our faith for ourselves is something that every mature Christian should do.
In this series, we’ve covered voting/political engagement, leadership and communications from a grown-up Catholic perspective and this week it’s all about learning. As we consider how we grow in knowledge and understanding in our faith, we can look to the example of Jesus and other Christian leaders and the practices they exemplify and embody.
Today’s episode also contains a very important update on the future of the podcast, so I hope you’ll give this one a listen.
